Food Truck Rumble presents the third ‘RUMBLE – 2vs2 BBOY/BGIRL COMPETITION’ at the Perth Cultural Centre on Sunday 26 March 2017.

The inaugural Rumble Comp in 2015 had 28 teams competing and the comp was taken out by local duo Beni Benz (Perth) and Tore (Port Hedland) with runners up Kelvin Teo and Harris Koh who flew over from Singapore to battle!

The second Rumble Comp in 2016 had all 32 registered spots available filled. The comp was taken out by the dynamic duo of King Ippy (Perth) and Syafiq (Singapore). We will never forget the massive effort of runner up Shynoh (France) who battled solo all day to the finals.

THE RUMBLE 2vs2 BBOY/BGIRL COMP brings together the street dance community with breakdancers from around Perth and all over the world competing, including Sydney, France, Singapore, Canada and Japan. It provides an outlet for all local street dancers to showcase their talents and celebrate hip hop culture. It brings together the old and next generation of breakdancers, and every year newer generations join. Last year we had more kids registering to participate from as young as 6, getting down on the dance floor to join the battles and have fun with the support of their fellow breakers.

The breakdancing competition will be running again in the James Street Amphitheatre. The competition last year drew massive crowds who were entertained all day with the Breaking Battles as well as special street dance showcases which included Mcing, Locking, Waacking & Urban!

32 Spots will be made available for theTHE RUMBLE – 2vs2 BBOY/BGIRL COMP which will increase if interest is high.
